A person is dead after an exchange of gunfire with police Saturday at the Duke's Motel in Rosedale, according to Baltimore County police. County police said officers were called around 5 a.m. to the 1700 block of Winding Brook Way in Windsor Mill for a shooting of a 37-year-old woman. Police said the woman's ex-boyfriend forced his way into the house, a physical altercation ensued and the woman was struck by gunfire. Then, police investigators went to a Rosedale motel, where they believed the man was staying.
